The experience has been great in terms of animal sighting....Edwin was a top driver. In hindsight the trip could be even better and maybe we should have done Masai Mara first so that there is enough time for a decent lunch and sightseeing on the last day.  We had about one hour for both lunch at the supermarket and some 20-minute shopping.

We had a wonderful two-week trip organised by Mara Gates Safaris. They organised every detail and worked with us to ensure we had the perfect itinerary. There service was prompt, personal and very reliable.

Overall my experience with Mara Gates Safaris was very positive. I assume your approach is to book into another transport/safari company to actually operate the tour so you’re control over this aspect is limited, nevertheless this was very good.

My initial enquiries and booking with Agnes was trouble free. She was very helpful and responded promptly and informatively to my questions. She gave me confidence I was dealing with a professional company which is always a concern when booking from overseas. The initial transfer from the airport car to the safari vehicle was a little messy as we tried to find each other in the streets, however this was not a major problem or concern.

I recently returned from Kenya where I was fortunate enough to have booked a 7 day lodge safari through Mara Gates Safaris.  Right from my first email communications with Agnes, I was impressed with her professionalism and prompt replies.

We were not the easiest customers to deal with as we had many questions, changed itineraries several times and even requested references for the company.  Agnes was always pleased to give suggestions and change quotations.  Her eager manner and willingness to please is what prompted us to choose Mara Gates over all the others.
