Accommodation: This tour is based on accommodation in mid range properties. Day 2 After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Please note that gorilla tracking is a strenuous activity and one should be physically fit to enjoy this tour. Minimum tracking age is 15 years. Anyone with signs of communicable diseases will NOT be allowed to trek. Maximum time allowed with the gorillas will NOT exceed ONE hour. We strongly recommend the following: Rain poncho (lightweight), long-sleeved shirt, waterproof trousers, sturdy hiking boots, leather gardening -type gloves, sunscreen, insect repellent and any necessary medications. Still Cameras and Camcorders are allowed, but bring batteries and film with you. Permits are only purchased upon receipt of your deposit, after confirmation from you. Gorilla permits are booked on a "first come first served" CASH basis and therefore can be purchased by others. Please do make a decision as soon as you can in order to avoid disappointment. On confirmation, please advise full names as they appear in your passports, nationality passport number and date of birth 3 Days Gorilla Tracking Safari |
