Itinerary
Day 1 You are met at 0700hrs and proceed southwest and across the Equator. You Drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery.
Drive through to Bwindi.
Day 2 After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity.
Day 3 Sadly return to Kampala with great memories of and moments spent with the fascinating Mountain Gorillas. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Drop-off at the airport for your flight to Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you are met and transfer to Sarova Panafric for overnight. Dinner on own arrangement
Day 4 Pick up at 0800hrs and drive to Outspan hotel where you will have lunch at 1230 hrs. Later in the afternoon transfer to Treetops Lodge.
Aberdares National Park has a diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls and rain forests. The flora and fauna is quite unique and is not found elsewhere in the country, expect on Mount Kenya. Leopard, elephant, serval, waterbuck, reedbuck, dikdik, rhino and the rare bongo can all be found here.
You are sure to see elephants, buffalos and some other animals at the floodlit waterholes of Treetops Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Treetops Lodge.
Day 5 0800hrs, pick up and drive to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill lodge. 1600hrs, proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Day 6 0700 hrs pick up and drive via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Along the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and Mt. Suswa. 1600 hrs -An afternoon game drive till dusk.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey.
The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round. Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night. Between July and October, when the great wildebeest migration is in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the sensation is unparalleled.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 7 0630 hrs -Early morning game drive in the Mara. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure. (On this day, you also have an optional balloon ride- at an extra cost with pick up from the lodge at 0500hrs)
1600 hrs -After lunch at the lodge, proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 8 Breakfast at the lodge and at 0800hrs, return to Nairobi arriving around 1300 hrs.
