This tour is based on accommodation at Oltukai lodge but several other accommodation alternatives can be arranged to suit your needs.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park

0800 Hrs – pick up from your hotel and drive to Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch at the Oltukai Lodge. Afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park.

Dinner and overnight at the Oltukai Lodge

Day 2: Amboseli- National Park

0630 hrs - early morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge, proceed at 1600 hrs for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

Amboseli is located in the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning.

The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge

Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi

Breakfast at the lodge then depart and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

Cost Includes:
- Park entrance fees
- Full board accommodation on safari
- Service of an English speaking driver guide
- Transport based on a Safari vehicle with pop up roof for game viewing
- Driver allowances and park fees for vehicle and driver
- Game drives as per the Itinerary
- One bottle of mineral water per person per day
- Government taxes

Excludes:
- Extras at the lodges i.e. drinks, telephone, laundry etc.
- International flight

The experience has been great in terms of animal sighting....Edwin was a top driver. In hindsight the trip could be even better and maybe we should have done Masai Mara first so that there is enough time for a decent lunch and sightseeing on the last day. We had about one hour for both lunch at the supermarket and some 20-minute shopping.
