I was phenomenally pleased with the Masai Mara safari I took with Mara Gates. Not only did the company offer rates that are 20-30% below that of competitors, but they were very accommodating of my requests, and put together a great weekend for me and my friend. The accommodation and food was great, and the driver (Douglas) was very proactive in ensuring we had the best safari possible. He was always willing to wait and let us view the wild-life, and constantly communicating with other drivers about where to find some of the rarer animals (cheetah, leopard). Thanks to Douglas, we were able to see 4 of the Big 5 animals within a day, and have some unbelievable memories to take home with us. We really appreciate how even when outside the park, he was able to find wildlife for us to photograph along the road.
